Terms & Conditions

The rules of selling screens to Recycly Electrical. Designed to be fair, fast, and predictable for both sides.

01Who these terms cover

These terms apply when you sell screens (iPhone or Samsung Galaxy) to Recycly Electrical, whether you’re an individual or a repair-shop trade seller. By submitting a quote request or handing over stock, you confirm you accept these terms.

You also confirm you are the lawful owner of the screens (or are authorised by the owner to sell them) and that the stock is not stolen, encumbered, or subject to any third-party claim.

02Quotes

A quote is an offer to buy at the per-unit price shown, conditional on the stock matching the model, originality, and condition you described. Quotes are valid for seven days unless we state otherwise. You’re free to accept, reject, or seek a better offer elsewhere.

03Inspection & grading

We grade every screen on receipt for model, originality (OEM vs. aftermarket / refurbished), and condition. If grading matches your description, we pay the quoted price. If it doesn’t, we’ll send a revised offer with a clear breakdown. You can:

  • Accept the revised offer and we proceed with payment, or
  • Decline, in which case we return the stock to you at our cost

We reserve the right to refuse stock that turns out to be counterfeit, locked, reported stolen, or otherwise problematic.

04Ownership & title

Title (legal ownership) and risk pass to Recycly Electrical once payment is sent. Until then, the stock remains your property even if it’s in our possession for inspection.

05Payment

Payment is by Australian bank transfer in AUD, sent the same business day stock is confirmed against the quote. We don’t pay in cryptocurrency, gift cards, or in-kind goods. Bank details you provide are used solely to pay you.

06Pickup & drop-off

We offer free onsite pickup across metropolitan Melbourne for accepted quotes. You may also drop stock off at our head office (24-26 Smeaton Avenue, Dandenong) during business hours. Stock posted to us is at your risk and expense unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing.

07Disputes

If you disagree with our grading, contact us within seven days of receiving the revised offer or payment summary. We’ll provide photos and grading notes for the disputed units. If we can’t resolve it informally, either party can refer the matter to a relevant Australian consumer or commercial dispute body.

08Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a transaction is capped at the price agreed for that transaction.

09Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. The courts of Victoria have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from a transaction with Recycly Electrical.
